What to Bring for Your Powerboat Course
To ensure your comfort, safety, and enjoyment during your powerboat course, please come prepared with the following:
Clothing
- Between May and September: UV-protection clothing is highly recommended. Long sleeves made from light, breathable summer fabrics are ideal.
- Winter months: Bring an extra warm layer, just in case.
- On cooler or rainy days, comfortable clothing and a waterproof jacket are recommended.
- Avoid clothing with metal parts (such as zips or buckles), as these may scratch the gel coat of our boats.
Footwear
- Non-marking shoes are mandatory (white-soled, non-marking trainers or deck shoes are ideal).
Personal Items
- Water (essential)
- Hat and sunglasses
- Sunscreen (high SPF recommended / cream - avoid spray)
What to Pack
- Please do not bring unnecessary items.
- Everything you bring should fit into a small to medium backpack.
Provided by the School
- Lifejackets and all required safety equipment
