IYT Day Skipper
Course Description
This is a 3 day course, aimed to deliver a safe, informed, confident and competent day sailor/skipper who can confidently command or work as crew on a sailboat up to 10 meters (32.8 feet) during daylight hours in fair conditions in inland waters (bay or lake sailing) or coastal waters up to 5 miles offshore.
Certificate Limitations:
- Command a vessel up to a maximum length of 10 meters (32.8 feet)
- Inland waters (bay or lake sailing) or coastal waters up to 5 miles offshore
- Daylight hours and in fair conditions with moderate wind and sea conditions

Prerequisites
Some of our courses require some qualifications or previous experience from the candidate due to the nature the course. These are the pre-requirements to book and join this course:
