Sail on the west coast of the Algarve and visit several Portuguese harbours. This expedition combines pilotage, chart work, tidal calculations but also explore ashore and taste the Portuguese food.
This is a qualyfing passage for Bareboat Skipper level and gives you limes towards your Yachtmaster Coastal.
What does this mean? Instead of doing this course in a fixed location, you can optionally set sail towards a destination. We call those adventures our Sailing Expeditions. The following are the main subjects to be taught during this course. After completion, the student should be competent at an acceptable level.
Day 1: Check / safety / slip line after lunch
Day 2: departing from Albufeira towards Lagos
Day 3: Sail to Sagres and return to Portimão
Day 4: Portimão - Albufeira or Vilamoura
Day 5: Arrival at Olhão
For students doing courses, the theory exam will be in day 3,4 or 5
